2025 – Ten Tone Runs for YMCA Charity 5K

In 2025, Ten Tone Runs returned for a second year at the YMCA Charity 5K, held at Downsview Park in Toronto. Our team ran and walked together, raising over $2,635.53 to help send more children to YMCA camps. It was a joyful day filled with encouragement, community spirit, and the shared goal of giving children the chance to build memories in a supportive camp environment.

This initiative reflected our commitment to combining art, community, and philanthropy to create lasting impact.

2025 – Support for ATHANASIA

In 2025, George and Elisseos supported Ekfrassi Productions and the theatrical performance ATHANASIA, a celebration of Nancy Athan-Mylonas’ sixty years in the arts, by contributing creative and production expertise. George wrote the script, performed, served as assistant director, and created the audiovisual elements, while Elisseos served as production manager and actor.

This collaboration reflected our commitment to supporting meaningful theatre in the community through professional expertise, shared creative vision, and strong artistic partnership.

2024 – Ten Tone Runs for YMCA Charity 5K

In 2024, Ten Tone Productions launched a new initiative called Ten Tone Runs, forming a team to take part in the YMCA Charity 5K at Downsview Park. Together, we raised $4,031.83 to help send children to YMCA camps. The event brought our community together in support of a cause that creates opportunities for children to connect, socialize, and grow in a supportive environment.

It was a meaningful way to extend our mission beyond the stage and show how art and community spirit can create lasting impact.

2022 – Epaggelma: Porni and SOS Children’s Villages

In 2022, Ten Tone Productions staged the sociopolitical play Epaggelma: Porni by Lili Zografou, marking the 100th anniversary of her birth. To secure the rights to bring this powerful story to the stage, we completed a donation to SOS Children’s Villages in Greece, which holds the intellectual property of Zografou’s works.

The production was not only an important artistic milestone for us but also an opportunity to honour her legacy while contributing to the care of children in need.

2021 – Scotiabank Marathon

In 2021, Elisseos Kyrillou participated in the Scotiabank Marathon and raise $4,425.00 funds for the Greek Community of Toronto. This initiative brought awareness and support to the community while highlighting the importance of collective action for a meaningful cause.

The effort reflected Ten Tone Productions’ ongoing commitment to philanthropy and showed how dedication, both on and off the stage, can strengthen the bonds within our community.

2020 – Ten Tone Writer’s Club

In 2020, Ten Tone Productions created the Ten Tone Writer’s Club, a writers’ group designed to bring together community members during the isolation of the pandemic. The club offered a space to share, inspire, and express creativity through writing. With no experience required, participants connected virtually to exchange ideas, develop their voices, and support one another.

The initiative demonstrated the importance of creative outlets and how art can build resilience in challenging times.

2020 – Supporting Small Businesses

In December 2020, Ten Tone Productions and Ten Tone Cares came together to support small businesses during a difficult time. We invited businesses to share material that we could feature across our social media platforms, giving them more visibility and community support.

This initiative helped amplify local voices and offered encouragement to entrepreneurs navigating the challenges of the pandemic. It was our way of showing solidarity with the broader community.

2020 – Ten Tone Challenge

In 2020, we launched the Ten Tone Challenge, encouraging community members to showcase their creativity on TikTok and beyond. Participants submitted videos re-enacting favourite scenes from television, theatre, movies, or original content, which we shared across our social media. Each week, a winner was chosen based on engagement.

This lighthearted initiative brought people together, sparked joy during a difficult time, and reminded us of the creativity and talent that exists within our community.

2020 – Hellenic Home for the Aged

In 2020, Ten Tone Productions introduced Ten Tone Cares with our very first initiative. We brought part of our stand-up comedy show, LMGAO – Laugh My Greek A$$ Off, to the Hellenic Home for the Aged. Our performers shared laughter and energy with the residents, filling the room with smiles and joy.

It was a heartfelt afternoon that showed the true meaning of giving back and set the foundation for Ten Tone Cares to continue creating opportunities for community connection.
